i'm sure you'll be making nice work. i noticed your use of patterns. do you own any color combination books, they can be really helpfull as far as you being able to see possibilities of color combos. i've got one called global color combinations. it has examples of graphic design work and patterns with both the rgb and cmyk numbers so that you can just type them into your computer. you should check if you get the chance, i think you would really like.

since i can tell you appriate pretty things, check out Alphonse Mucha ( if you already don't know about him). he's not anime, but is one of my ultimate fav artists. if you study his work, i promise you his work will help you out somehow.
